If everyone brings over all their friends and family pretty soon we won't have room to swing a dead cat. I don't like overcrowding- maybe you do, but I don't. And cruel and deadly empires are in the eye of the beholder- some people think WE are a cruel and deadly empire. Not that I agree with that- but for someone who likes to correct other people, you can be pretty myopic.
