APLX is another stock that we felt could benefit from the Linux mania. . . WESTBORO, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 1999--Applix, Inc. (NASDAQ:APLX), a leader in decision support applications for Linux and UNIX workstations, announced today that the company has joined the IBM Netfinity(R) ServerProven(tm) program. The program certifies that Applixware for Linux and Anyware for Linux have been tested for compatibility on IBM's Intel-based Netfinity servers. But I think that OBJS is in a better position for benefitting, due to the immediate competition APLX has in the office ap area. . . whereas OBJS is "travelling" with Red Hat and is now in Red Hat's limelight.
