I agree with what you say but I also think most of the people here in this thread are intelligent investors with a sound mind and are aware of the consequences when buying stocks at someone's recommendation without dd.

Problem is, many aren't. When you see folks asking Tim when and what to buy, that should be cause for concern.

This is one of the better threads that I have encountered and hope that it remains. Despite all the controversy Tim did pick some substantial winners. I really mean it when I say this Jas, but I hope you can contribute to this thread also, you seem to be pretty sharp. I hope this thread "Lives long and Prosper".

Really just started following the thread after Tim showed up on the FORE thread acting like he just discovered the Holy Grail. I agree this is a great thread, perhaps a little to active for my liking. But in all deference to Tim, I do think he was reponsible for guiding the direction of things here, and attempts to continue it as it was probably won't be the same.

I'd be happy to contribute, but I rub many people the wrong way with my posting style, particularly some of the thread members here. Evidenced by my query on MRBA (Marimba) Friday which went unanswered (and BTW went up 10%+ after that).

I started a thread on the NWX, since that seemed to be a central interest among SI posters, and I was getting sick of Jach's incessant spam on the FORE thread, but it didn't do so well. Pissing contests, rumors an inuendo seem to be an integral part of successful threads.

Best of Luck however things turn out,

jas.
