All,

I'm still trying to write some custom scans. Or, duplicating what I now use in Quotes Plus. When I try to access IQC's help files, especially "Quick Reference", this is what I get:

HTTP Error 404

404 Not Found

The Web server cannot find the file or script you asked for. Please check the URL to ensure that the path is correct.

Please contact the server's administrator if this problem persists.

Anyone have an idea here? TIA, Ken

I haven't had any trouble saving scans. After setting the parameters I simply hit "save as template".

I would suggest downloading again, holding down your control key as you do so. Also, you will want to download both IQC and the other do-dad thingie that comes with it...

Regards, TC.

Ken,
After some experimenting, here is what works. First find the directory where you installed IQC. Under that directory find the user/scan subdirectory. In there you will see a file named newtemplate. Delete it and reinstall IQC. That will get the original default templates. You can then save new templates. I guess for safety purposes, if you create a lot of templates, just backup the newtemplate file.
