The numbers surrounding the 10,000,000 post will always be a gray area. The counter literally went crazy. Great gray gaps like #reply-9999000 to #reply-9999100 make close scrutiny difficult at best. It appears that the grub was the centerpiece of 516 messages in a ten minute period. At 17 minutes before the grub the counter stood almost a thousand posts short of the mark. An incredible 196 posts were made in the same minute as the 10,000,000 post, a wave of incredible density.

I had a good shot at it. I hit the first publish button (I could see a total of fourteen on my screen) as soon as the counter ticked past 9999900, the last total I saw was 9999911. My first post was right at the foot of the wave, the closest I got was #reply-9999996 but I framed it nicely with #reply-1000005
