Though it seems the card should have the DVD decoding onboard with the rage lt pro, it simply doesn't. I don't know if Apple removed it or ATI's website is wrong or describing another product than that which Apple used.

However, I do know that Apple's DVD decoding on the 400 MHz model is done by a c-cube ZiVa daughtercard attached to the motherboard. This card is obviously not physically part of the ATI card, nor is it on the 333 MHz model.
