That's the million dollar question every investor would love an answer to. When I first heard about Datawave, they were an up and coming company with strong growth numbers and talks of expansion.

From my humble view point, everything fell apart when they were unsuccessful with the issuing of their IPO and NASDAQ listing. Without financing everything seemed to fall apart, and the tide turned very quick. At the time they had recently acquired Metro Phone. That relationship didn't last long as Metro Phone was sold back to it's original owner.

After months adrift, seemingly without any word on the status of the direction of the company, and without the possibility of the IPO or listing, some wacky partnership with a offshore company in the Bahamas (or somewhere down in Laundry central) finally came into effect.

From what the company has been saying, this provided the ability to lower their cost of debt, and provide some well needed capital.

I haven't heard a word since.

That's seems to be my humble take on the situation. unfortunately getting any news out of Datawave has proven to be very difficult.
