Mr. Burr: That's probably the Alliant/Valence technology to replace the M-16 rifle. Something like 30 million replacements. Remember the $60,000 ashtrays for the military, should be very lucrative to Valence! <VBG>

Alliant Techsystems has an $8MM contract to provide prototype. If that is successful and the goverment signs the go ahead contract then Alliant Techsystems is expected to receive at least $500MM for the contract. Source: Olde Discount analysis of Alliant Techsystems; published 1qtr 1999. Valence would supply Alliant with the batteries.
