Monty: After your note, I went back and checked. My tattered records show that my first Schwab account was opened in 1982, about 17 years ago -- so I was off with both 10 and 20! The mind is starting to go! (Have you ever tried estimating how long it's been since something happened? -- definitely not easy to do.) Yeah, I've had occasional problems (who hasn't) but I've always gotten fast answers and overall, have been very satisfied with them. I'm still amazed that online trading exists at all so I may be more forgiving than you. Glad to hear you're not "short" SCH -- my wife and I both have it as a "core" holding in our IRAs. My sense is that Schwab will stay on the cutting edge of the technology so I'll stick with them unless something really better and more reliable comes along. Good luck! Guy
