You are exactly right in pointing out another STELLAR EXAMPLE of Intel's MARKET SEGMENT SUCCESS !

Market Segmentation, SCUMbria !

The XEON houses a 199% full speed L2 cache - unlike the wimpy 1/2 or 1/3 speed L2 cache that the KamiKaze 7 is going to have.

Further, the XEON contains a host of system monitor functions such as temperature senors for system monitoring and reliability, very important for the Server SEGMENT that the XEON services, where RELIABILITY ISSUES are paramount.

I think AMD is looking at another SLOT B to address this market, emphasizing AGAIN how far behind AMD is.
