Cringe - Re: "While I would love K7 sales to reach 10-17 mil. per Q, it probably won't happen but at least those vendors will still have something rather than nothing to do with those already built products."

Do you really believe that Intel hasn't provided 3, 6 and 12 month forward forecasts to its component suppliers?

This isn't AMD, you know !

Re: "With the Celeron: Intel = Intel - OVER 2 years!"

My guess is that the Celeron is outselling the K63 AND the K62 COMBINED !

What's your guess, Cringe ?

Paul

sir you are such a loser. Did you not hear about AMD-Motorola production alliance and building the new dresden production plant with copper-connect technology? this advanced technology is already in use in Motorola plants(Motorola,Intel's old ennemy, is more advanced than Intel in production Mr) and intel is still clueless about this technology.

This plant more than double AMD production with better than intel process. This is the production fix that people are talking about, and intel stock price is dropping because of it.
Remember, AMD processors got significantly smaller die size than
intel processors with equal performance meaning better design and cheaper to produce. AMD's weak link is production shortage. Their new plant will look after that.
