Jenne, thank you for the link, and for kindly typing out news, as I don't have a TheStreet subscription either.
IMHO, CMGI is a Powerhouse and a Winner no matter what overall market conditions lay in the immediate future.
The best news I ever heard about CMGI was a gem of considered professional opinion that I read in several creditable places around the time Wetherell protested Diller's offering for Lycos (sorry I don't have a link for origin but perhaps other CMGI investors will recall jumping out of the chair in joy when reading it).... "CMGI will most likely be required to register as a mutual fund in the near future, unless it starts the process of becoming an active internetwork by the acquisition and deployment of a Portal to implement function of all the holdings". (not the exact words, but the gist is there)
IMHO, next logical move....Wetherell will Do Just That (whether or not it's Lycos) and then.....With cast assembled, learning the lines, rehearsing...so after continuing to trade sideways and slippery As Is for yet a bit longer -
It's CMGI Showtime!!! Rock and Roll - Up Rises The Curtain!!!
Seeing no reason to sell CMGI shares at this low price, fearing it'll never go up again, IMHO.
Best to you,
Joana
