I believe that the news that's moving MTSN may very well be the 2 300mm fabs that were announced during the last 2 weeks. MTSN already has its 300mm tools qualified at a variety of sites and the major 300mm pilots.

Until 2 weeks ago, 300mm was just another possibility on the horizon and the horizon was constantly being pushed out. It has now been pulled in to the point that production buys will start in 2000.

IMO, this also means that there will be a much larger number of customers doing technology buys both this year and next.

My rose coloured glasses just got a lot rosier for MTSN's prospects.

Yes, MTSN has substantially outperformed every index this week with almost a 25% gain.

With the substantial increase in volume, perhaps Brad and his new CFO are really meeting with some success in attracting more sell side analyst coverage.

The future's so bright, we're going to need shades.
