Hi Katherine, thanks for the response. I wish I could be as sanguine as you and the venerable Mclean about predicting even the supply side, beyond such vaguaries like "a little", "a lot", or "a whole **** of a lot." It seems to me that even that part of it is difficult enough given the number of factors involved; improved yield thru small feature sizes, fab utilization decisions, etc. Those engineers are some clever devils and they do make a habit of squeezing blood (and yield) from a stone. Not to mention the "outside" factors that you already alluded to.

I can only wish that metrics were as beautifully precise looking forward as they are looking backward. <G> But hey, that's what makes a market, no? If it were that easy we'd all be rich and there wouldn't be enough islands to go around.
