it is an odd thing ... actually ... all of us are competitors of one another ... who can buy the earliest ... who can sell the fastest ...

I find it amusing that many people do not understand this simple conclusion.

I watch trade x trade ... I see my bid ... I see my fill ... that is given to me if someone is willing to sell at the price I want to buy at ...

easy on NYSE ... more difficult on NAS stocks ... buy still easy if there is a seller or buyer at the price we are willing to buy or sell at.

There are "guru's and sharks" on SI and on mIRC ... they know how trading works ... some use this knowledge ... to an unethical (IMO) use ... it is pretty clear to see

and it is so easy for them to do ... buy a stock ... put the word out on a "pick of the day" or "stockwatch" "hotstock" "flyer" etc. ....

I believe the name for it is "front running" ... easy and illegal to do ... difficult to prove

no menace meant here ... just an opinion
