I will never understand the logic of "You can only make 100% on a short." What difference does it make if you buy @ $10 and sell @ $40 or Short @$40 and cover @ $10. The percentage gain is the same. Longs just don't understand that. So if you want to look at it with that logic, I have never put a dime up for a short, it is all buying power from my longs. My shorts don't cost me anything, the are just pure profit. Learn to play both sides of the market. You will be more profitable in the long run.
