Silicon, Ah ha - the classic rules. Been looking for those darn things. Thanks for the repost. Lost of verbatim regarding which is better: IRC's, chatrooms, boards et al... ALL OF THEM Try to have as much exposure as you can during a trading day. One must be on top of investor sentiment to fully benefit as a daytrader. TA is fine but with the advent of irc channels, boards, and other realtime media it is no longer just a Level 11 follow the MM's business. Personally I make most of my money from gap plays. I am an "investor sentiment" trader. I have done it long enough to know what types of stocks will gain recognition after a trading day and which will not. Also, which stocks daytraders are apt to pour into before the close for the sought after gap. THERE IS NO WAY TO LEARN THIS EXCEPT EXPERIENCE AS MANY HAVE POSTED. GO OUT AND BUY ALL THE BOOKS YOU WANT - WASTE OF MONEY IN MY OPINION. YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED AT THIS BUSINESS UNLESS YOU LIVE IT LIVE IT LIVE IT. So many people tell me I am lucky to have been successful trading. BULL SH.... I earned it - I have put in 20 hour days at this computer for almost 2 1/2 years. I was one of those in the learning curve who lost most of it in the beginning but was lucky enough to have it turn on me. Many ask me "what was the turning point". I earned it, learned it and loved it. If you are looking for quick easy money - DAYTRADING IS NOT FOR YOU. JL
