Please review college economics. If more Celerons are being sold per Pentium, Intel's margins are on the decline.

Pee-III share went from 6.7% in March to 7.8% in April. Pee-III is a new CPU. It is suppose to be ramping fast. It is not because of Celeron competition. Compare prices:

Pee-III 450: $244
Celery-PPGA 466: $158
K6-2 450: $97

Even an Intel-only buyer, must be a moron to go with Pee-III just on the basis of CPU pricing alone. Add to this a more expensive SLOT 1 platform comparing to PPGA or super7.

You forgot the plummeting share of Pee-II.
