Who said the price action is only related to Portland. It might be masking other negatives which are only slowly surfacing. It is a common mistake to conclude a stock is bottomed because you can discount the apparent cause for the decline.

The waterfall decline suggests that the stock will get a bounce, but that isn't enough to initiate new longs. You have to wait. If you're long term and married to the concept, you hold, but you don't add. Adding is only justified when, as, and if, various solutions develop in a salient way to apparent problems and developing constructive fundamentals continue. Alternatives to cable broadband and direct competition are coming on stream, so there is a lot of dynamic tension in the shares.

The Internet stocks have short term bottomed and will be advancing into the scheduled summer rally. This occurs because people believe it will. When it runs out does that mean we get back into the major down trend? It is very likely. So traders can jump in and do well, but they better jump out fast especially if the action is fast and thin. That kind of action tells you that bear market rally is upon you.
