SB - (...1. what makes us believe that we are going to have a HUGE 80%+ drop
in unit demand two years out and, if this pans out as PLANNED, isn't
this a total disaster?...)

You meant to say drop in unit demand _growth_, right?

If you take the numbers at face value, it would seem to indicate a 1999 restraint, followed by a catch-up in 2000 (not knowing what 1998 was).

In any case, it calls for an very aggressive gain in market share going forward (25% to 33% to 38%).

Regards, Don

Skeets, It is both amazing that the planners never consider such concepts and that when they present such forecasts to analysts, most of them accept them as gospel truth. <g>
