Steve -- Thanks for the bookmark on investment resources. Also, read in my Sunday NYT a lengthy piece on internet IPO's and how they are far from dead. Only problem is I don't see how anyone can do a major article on internet ventures without including CMGI. Also noted that Meeker got another plug. However, it was interesting to note that after she came out strong for EBAY unusually early after the company went public Meeker's company Morgan Stanley ended up with a chunk of the $1 billion secondary offering. The article also shows that what Ms. Meeker is mostly about is generating underwriting fees for Morgan Stanley. Her early advocacy of EBAY was aimed at positioning MS to win back EBAY as a client after Goldman Sachs originally won exclusivity.
