option007 -

Rebuy after June 16 or 17 after Greenspan speaks. Oh oh when is he going to speak. You know now that if the market is too good then he'll say something. I'm happy when either say nothing or alternatively says good things about the market.

He should say things like:- " Personally both I and the other members of the Fed think that MSFT in particular and the Market in general are very cheap"

If he went up to the Hill every sixmonths and said that it would be very good.

Best regards,

L

Rebuy after June 16 or 17 after Greenspan speaks. Until then expect Microsoft up in the morning and then back down to high 70's.

You might be right but June 16 is only 1 1/2 weeks away. Why risk trying to time it ?---Unless you are an options trader. That part of my portfolio(options) may follow the strategy you are suggesting but most of my stock position is going to remain intact.

If you short MSFT , better cover your short position early on Monday. Everytime , when there is a new product released, MSFT's stock price always response positively.
Just look at the chart , in May of 1998 , the stock price flatted in fear of the DOJ case,
the stock started to move to new high when Win98 released in June.

The stock price already had all the bad news built into it, anything positive will lift the stock to new high. So, now is the time to accumulate , not to take the chips off the table. MSFT has corrected more than 20% from its previous high of $95, how much lower will it be ? Another 20% ? I do not think so. But any positive news , like the new product release, will lift the stock price to pass its old high and build another new high !!!!
