Yes Pezz extremists can subvert the Muslim or any other faith to serve their purposes. IMO, that doesn't excuse your hostility to the sincerely held religious beliefs of all non-extremist Muslims. Seems to me you are trying to keep brees' conscience clear. Seems awful judgmental for someone who's willing to accept affirmative lying, perjury and obstruction of justice from the leadership in this country. JLA

Pezz, can you think of any cultures that restrict education of certain groups (in the taliban case, women), that are not muslim? I know the USA restricted education of blacks during slavery of course, but I am referrring to modern times, where there is such legislation on the books.

Imo restriction to education is the most oppressive of all societal ills... many afghan women can't read and are not allowed to learn.
