I prefer to position trade myself.

But have daytraded some I have positions in when the opportunity arises. Sometimes when the market or a stock is in an undeniable uptrend, I'll only sell say 90% of each daytrade, and sell off the whole everything form the day on the last trade.

I can't say this is a good thing to do. I have only been doing it for a few months now, and with the exception of the last month, seemed I could do no wrong.

I've been lucky so far. Learning in a bull market(I don't often short-if I do i usually settle by the end of the day) is much more forgiving than trying to learn in a bull market.
