Hey I can't take all this ragging on wcom. WCOM is the best of the big guys, they have the most solid earnings and the best management. While ATT chases residential, wcom chases business. Ebbers and Sidgemore are tops as far as management goes.

Barrron's is wrong about q, but wcom is a winner, just ask George Gilder. There are a lot of high flying fiber companies, of which I own a few, that in five years will not have done near as well as wcom. Local to global to local, wcom owns it. Wcom focuses on owning global communications infrastructure, while others are chasing what's hot now, wcom is buying and building the communications links business will use.

wcom probably will not perform like the q (what stock can?), but its a solid company, with customers, with earnings, with vision, and great management.
