If you believe in hell then God is the kind of parent who would condemn his "child" for eternity- I don't know any flesh and blood parent who would do that no matter the "sins" of the child. So do earthly parents have more forgiveness and love in them than the celestial parent? And if the celestial parent REALLY loves his children- he will admire even the headstrong children who use their BRAINS- (which the hypothetical celestial parent gave them) to think for themselves.
