KM, Exactly, when they grab you quick like that (the fill is too easy), it means you are now the proud new "Sucker" owning the stock. An appropriate time to run with your tail between your legs! (a.k.a. just hit the Bid quick)

Seriously though, it's a near-perfect leading indicator that you've made a mistake. They don't give out to many of those, in this business <g>. So, best to USE it!

KM; seems you guys are daytrading on a level above me, and I never
planed on being a day trader..in fact I may not fit that category
even though I do more often trade in and out in a day anymore, it's
not my main focus.
I will hold trades over night and even several
days at first I planed on being an investor, then a position trader but have found myself daytrading more and more.

However I'm not set up with level II , and have no plans to go
that far.
When things get right I may just hedge off and forget the market
for a bit. Not now, but latter I'll use the Long SPX short MID
hedge balanced $ wise and then forget it for a while.
Too much of this market can drive me batty.
Jim
