we ate at a place once that presented us with two forks on a folded red cloth napkin... i said, "what's this?", and was told, "your chilled salad fork, sir". amazing. i'd had a few too many tequila sunrises, and when the waiter returned i handed him my fork and asked him if he'd please warm it up, "just a tad" as it was a bit too chilled. figured two could play the pretentiousness game. but my wife wasn't having as much fun as i was... :) mark
