TechniClone, Inc. is the most incredible IPO to come along in the last 10 years. These guys have just been granted a patent for the first neural network chip that can be replicated using embryonic cloning. These chips are said to be 100,000 times more dense than those manufactured by Intel! Their technique involves a process called "blastomere separation". According to their prospectus: "Embryos in the early stages of development start to divide into cells called blastomeres. The zona pellucida (a protective covering for the egg) is punctured or removed and the blastomeres are separated from each other. Each blastomere is then covered with an artificial zona pellucida. Then each of the blastomeres starts dividing and becomes an embryo." They expect to start rolling out these neural chips in quantity by late 1998. Look for prototypes of computers that use them to debut around this time next year. The best thing about this offering is that because of the bad market yesterday, no one seems to be paying much attention. At $3 a share this stock is a BARGAIN! I expect it to at least double by the end of the day. Their symbol is "CLON" on the NASDAQ. - Jeff

SI - TechniClone, Inc. -- The Next Intel

[SI Dave] 20 years ago.
