Searching through the Hot List here at SI I often find investors, even whole threads full of investors, giving up on stocks at the very time when they become most attractive to me. We as investors are ruled by strong emotions: Fear and Greed I have recently learned how easy it is to benefit from the first of these emotions by using some simple technical analysis. Stocks, which reach an oversold condition often, rebound quite nicely from the bottom. It is my intention to make use of this technique to make a nice return to sender. Call it bottom fishing if you like but it does work. We may not be holding these stocks long because we are interested in maximizing our profits while minimizing our risks. I may also discuss some other situations which I have done greater due diligence on and therefore feel better about holding longer term. As always do your own due diligence. Finally, stay off this thread if you are looking for anyone else but yourself to hold responsible for your own investments.

SI - Return to Sender - Oversold Stocks and Other
