Constraints of interest (that I have faced) are: difficulty in reliable trading caused by poor communications systems i.e. must invest in the medium/long term difficulty with time zones i.e. market open when normal sleep time difficulty with currencies difficulty with taxes benefits are mostly better tax-protected salaries This subject is meant for expats to discuss these issues and to share some good investment ideas. Hopefully we can all benefit from this. Regards, Lost in Africa PS I may start a model portfolio for stocks that suit our investment style. My bias is medium risk/high rewards but long term investments but I am open to suggestions.

SI - Expat Corner

[Lost in Jakarta] After so many years, I am back on SI.
