I'm pretty sure all my connection problems are because T Mobile is taking over US Cellular and is installing new equipment. They say we need a new internet router, and they will tell us what to do next week, which doesn't help today, or weeks ago.

It's very frustrating, but it's an excuse for games.

My ski coach buddy, Rick, has put numerous kids from his team onto the US Olympic Ski Team over the years, with several of them winning medals. They had another success today, Jackie Wiles winning a Bronze in women's combined....Combining times for two disciplines, Downhill and Slalom. The fastest and most dangerous event, with the most technical slowest race.

Fingers crossed that Rob/A19 forgives us for speaking ill of the Pats. <G> Of course, Polvie wouldn't be pleased with what the Pats did to his Ponies a couple of weeks back.

This was Seattle's year - they peaked heading into the postseason and never missed a beat.

Both teams are well coached and both have good/aggressive defenses. The Seahawks' offensive line impressed me, and their offense seems to have more weapons. If Sam Darnold pulls this off, he exorcises many professional demons. I think he'll do it.

I'm not sure if they played this past year (I don't think they did), but they had a pretty famous Super Bowl in 2013-14 with Russell Wilson getting picked off in the end zone in the final 30 seconds on a slant pattern when perhaps the Seahawks should have given the ball to Marshawn Lynch instead.

Seattle is tough. New England is good too, but this looks like the Seahawks' year to me.

I completely agree re the NFC West - many battles ahead. I'd typically favor the Rams against the Bears (with much less experience), but the weather tonight should be the great equalizer. Caleb Williams has been far better than I thought he would be also.

If the Seahawks' defense continues playing the way they did last night, it may not matter who they play next. They sure look like Super Bowl favorites from here.

It may or may not have been the Niners' greatest win under Kyle, but this team amazes me with its fight. How the defense has adjusted to the loss of Bosa, Warner, AND THEIR BACKUPS (!) is beyond me.

Shanahan, Salah, and Lynch have shown tremendous leadership and coaching abilities, but I suspect that the leadership within the locker room from the players is really strong too. On offense - Trent Williams, Kittle (ugh), Purdy, McCaffrey, Juszczyk and Jennings - those guys have all stepped up. On defense - Lenoir, Stout, Huff, Collins, Mustapha, Ferrell, Green, and (in the background) Warner even with the injury. Those guys refuse to quit fighting.

I'm still amazed the Niners only gave up 13 points to the Seahawks last week, as much as the Seahawks moved the ball all over the field. It's ironic that the defense held in crunch time yesterday - simply amazing.

I have no illusions about whether Seattle is "better" right now with the state of their injuries, but I would never count them out either. This has been an incredible year.

The 6 biggest takeaways from the 49ers' win against Philadelphia

The initially biggest takeaway from this game is that it is Kyle Shanahan's greatest win with the 49ers. I'm not even sure it's debatable anymore. You can say it's a couple of the NFC Championship ones, but this is it for me.

For Shanahan to beat the Eagles on the road with a decimated roster and having to adjust midgame without Kittle is nothing short of phenomenal. This is why he's the Coach of the Year.

If the next-man-up 49ers beat Seattle I'll be over-the-top happy but if they don't, this season is one of the greatest and proves why a team must never give up in the face of adversity.

A lot of non-superstar players stepped up yesterday on defense (like Okuayinonu and Eric Kendricks) and on offense including Jennings and Robinson.
