I stopped into a discount supermarket store in a distant state, and I was suddenly struck by the notion that everyone in the store appeared to be related to each other. I mean everyone except me. I got to thinking about my investments in the stock market and realized that it would be a good idea for me to learn more about what’s going on, but I’ve never seemed to have the time. I suppose it’s possible that I could make the time, but it seems so weird and mysterious when people try to explain it to me. I start feeling just like I felt inside that discount supermarket in a distant state. My neighbor across the street told me he knew a guy who knows a guy that is studying to be a stockbroker and that would be the best way to go, so I called him up. Boy howdy, that guy was talking some kind of foreign language. I didn’t understand most of it, but he seemed pretty confident about this stock called Hollywood Global Internet Backbone Industries. He said it could go to the moon by June maybe he thought perhaps. Is there some way you know of that will help me in understanding the stock market and not make me more confused? Sincerely, Interested ======================= Dear Interested, "Canned" trading "strategies" are doomed because every investor is different. However, you can learn to successfully interpret a price chart without drawing any curved lines, explanatory notes, or anything else on it. You can also learn to successfully tailor your personal investment strategy to fit your personal investment goals. I primarily use a simple form of Technical Analysis that I invented. It includes a few easy-to-see chart patterns that I discovered, a proprietary (and simple) theory on market movement, precise methods of quickly and simply determining entry points, exit points (both "good" and "bad" for the same trade), customized reward/risk parameters, and an asset allocation model that can be adjusted to your own criteria - all before I execute the trade in the first place. I trade long and short, one day, three days, one week, three weeks, one year, three years, stocks, options, currencies, but no cheap, thinly traded stuff, no BB deals, no Pink Sheets, no AMEX, and no foreign exchanges.

SI - Discount Supermarket Anti-Play Position Trades
