The SPX is set up right now for some strong upside imo. The monthly has RSI and Full STO AV. Only fly in the ointment is the 9 crossed below the 13 on the dip. MACD looks strong. The weekly is operating off both STO and RSI AV. On the daily chart PPO just gave a buy signal and RSI just had a classic bounce off 50 for some strong AV after this last dip. The 9,13, 20 day SMA's are in line and the market closed today above the 9 day. Plus had a SAR transition.
The 60 min chart is solid on all fronts. Only the 5 and 15 min chart show some signs of weakening, after the small sell off at the end of the day. Overall, looks very good. Tell me if any of you have anything else/different. TIA.

Gold and platinum poised for a big move $300-350 over next few months (toward end of their consolidation), could be either up or down. If the govt meddling and bailouts continue successfully, the fundamentals point to an upside move (e. g. QE3 or Europe panicking) . The HUI and GDX charts are showing bearish formations though (diamond or expanding triangle) so something to watch out. Its possible stocks may decouple from the metal depending on what news causes the big move or if they move synchronously the move could be to down side. A down move could provide a good buying oppty and shakeout all recent Johny come latelies to PM world.

Jeff always said when the monthly, which is stronger than the weekly, which is stronger than the daily, all turn up together, that's when moves are the most powerful.
