It does not yet have the permits to drill from the Colombian govt . It was a cumulative effect. Unless you have several alter egos/aliases you don't bear all that much blame. I believe that each of us is responsible for their own decisions regardless of whether they win or lose and if we are foolish enough to be influenced by the words of strangers then we should simply pay the price until we learn better. Personally, it is impossible to ignore the pumpers with their pompoms. Boards would be much better if the people who posted, only posted what they knew to be the facts as they are as opposed to what their imaginations can conjure. At at least have the decency to state that what they are offering is speculation. It's probably just too much to expect. EAS is a case of folks - including EAS management, turning chicken shit into chicken salad.

[3bar] Any one who lost money from my pumping this email me . eom

[zebra4o1] Wish I knew how to interpret those results. Still holding some because irrationally I just can't seem to accept that there is nothing at all to this company. Crazy thing is that the stock is still above my average purchase price of 48 cents. Next time I have a 15 bagger on a stock I will remember to sell. Amazing how having gains like that makes you totally irrational. Sounds like they are barely allowed to step foot on the property, and never should have been doing any drilling.

You almost get the feeling that management is deliberately putting things in the worst light possible. Is this some kind of a setting-low-expectations game? The new management wants to get everything out in the open now so they can blame it on the previous management? They are trying to deliberately drive the stock price down right into peak tax loss selling? Why come clean like this right now?

Oh, and let's not forget this news of litigation over the Barisan spin off. Bad enough that the spin off killed the stock price, but now we find out it was kind of sloppy legally. Are we US investors ever going to see a penny from that spin off?

[labbe] marketwire.com

[falang] Chill dude. This is a buy setup.
First, you have indicators in positive divergence.
That would be sorta green flag. Once you get those positive divergence, then you watch for trend line break.
Trend line break is a buy signal. Typically in this kind of a set up.

There are two conditions though. Trend line break shouldn't be too high from the last low. Because low will be your stop loss - in this case 0.5 or 0.49. Buy at 0.61 or so...

Another condition is, that stock is fundamentally in a good shape. Is this a case here? Prolly not.

But I like the chart here. Last two upticks are supported by heavy buying. This puppy should go higher from here.
No position, will just watch...

[zebra4o1] Some hefty volume that last two days.

[LoneClone] Management restructuring was certainly warranted after the debacles of the last ...

Management restructuring was certainly warranted after the debacles of the last few years. Dr. Darryl Clark has resigned as CEO-Director of East Asia, and is replaced by Mr. Edward Rochette. Dr. Clark, Mr. Rochette, the BoD and the senior management team of East Asia Minerals have acknowledged that the balance of skill sets required to add value to East Asia Minerals Corporation during this period weigh heavily towards negotiation. Dr Clark will assist in the transition of the management across to Mr. Rochette until the 31st of October, 2011.

The Company thanks Dr. Clark for his efforts at East Asia Minerals.

Mr. Rochette joined the company May 2010 as a Director and has added significant depth to the Board with his extensive and expert international and legal background. ( EAS-X) is in the process of spinning off assets to existing shareholders and focusing their efforts on the Miwah gold project in Indonesia. As they transition from the exploration phase towards feasibility they have made changes in the executive suite. President, CEO, and director Michael Hawkins resigned July 26, 2011.

The stock has been in a sharp decline since May of this year. Some but not all of the retreat can be attributed to the efforts to distribute assets to shareholders. A review of the charts will help to explain the prospects for the shares

The three-year chart tells the tale of an aggressive retreat from the highs of $8.55 on Dec. 31, 2010. From there it pulled back to $5.50 in March, 2011, when it announced the distribution of assets. Worth noting is that a death cross surfaced in March as well. The shares held on to $5.50 until late April of 2011 but after that it fell into a waterfall sell-off.

The six-month chart illustrates the sell signal generated by the MACD in late April as the stock was trading at $5.00. From there it was all down hill. The MACD generated another sell signal in mid July when there was still an opportunity to get off the ride at $3.00. The RSI indicates that EAS has been oversold since mid July, which is a sign of weakness.

EAS is a prime example of taking profits when they are available. The selling that has take the shares from $8.55 to $5.50 to $3.00 and now to $0.78 is a ride no one should ever take twice. Also keep in mind that the company is a junior mining company that has yet to generate revenue or a gram of gold.

If you are thinking of bottom fishing this one be cautious! These are dangerous waters!

Make it a profitable day and happy capitalism!

[Step1] thx for the reply. I like them for their existing resources but especially their upside, and as far as I know there are not the permitting issues hindering Miwah.

Right now I could buy shares on the open market for 53 cents plus brokerage fees or exercise my rights for 55 cents which gets me a share plus a half a warrant with a strike price of $2 with a remaining life of two years without paying brokerage fees. It seems like a good deal to me.

Given that any rights that aren't taken up by the retail holders like us will be taken up by CEF, it just seems pretty straightforward to take advantage of the opportunity if you like the company, even if the odds are long against the share price exceeding the warrant strike price within two years.

LC

[Step1] Can you educate me as to why this is a good deal right now? The drilling campaign was launched in August with the objectives of (a) meeting annual expenditure requirements to keep the projects in good standing; (b) test previously identified targets at the Enger and Ingenii-Nars projects; and (c) initiate early stage exploration at the Ulaan Nuur, Sevsuul Bulag, Bukht Uul and Unegt prospects.

East Asia Minerals has now completed the proposed summer 2011 drill program at the Enger project. The program consisted of four PCD-DDH (Polycrystalline Pre Collar-Diamond Drilling) holes and six air core holes for a total of 838 metres. All PCD-DDH holes have encountered the targeted uranium-bearing horizons with down-hole radiometrics supporting the geologic model. Samples from the diamond drill core sections of the holes have exhibited excellent recovery and have been sent to the laboratory for further analysis.

The Enger project was discovered in the mid 1980s by government prospecting teams who conducted at least 18 drill holes, which resulted in the delineation of a historical, non-NI43-101 compliant, resource of approximately 400,000 lbs. of U at an average grade of 0.065% U. East Asia Minerals first acquired the Enger project in August 2005 and actively drilled the property in 2006/07 to confirm the presence of this historical uranium mineralization. Key intercepts of the East Asia drilling campaigns of 2006/2007 included 2.5 metres of 0.410% U3O8 (ENDD003) and 13.5 metres of 0.108% U3O8 (ENDD005). In addition, the drilling supported the concept that the volcanic-hosted mineralization at Enger forms in a similar geological environment to that of the Gurvanbulag uranium deposit (Saddle Hills project) in northeast Mongolia.

To access this image, please go eaminerals.com

Figure 1 - Enger plan view map with contact area mineralization and drill hole locations (refer to www.EAminerals.com for additional maps and drill sections).

To access this image, please go eaminerals.com

Figure 2 - Enger longitudinal section looking north (refer to www.EAminerals.com for additional drill sections).

For the PCD-DDH program, four holes (ENDD010, and ENDD016 to 018) ranging from 57 to 250 metres depth were drilled to test the southwest up-dip extension of the main mineralization, and up-dip extension of deeper mineralized horizons. All holes encountered the targeted uranium-bearing horizons with down-hole radiometrics supporting the geologic model. The shallower main mineralized horizons at the contact between volcanics and overlying sediments were successfully extended. In addition, a number of tabular or lens like zones were encountered within altered rhyolite and associated tuffs just beneath the contact zone. The southwest extension from deeper zones was encountered in the eastern area of drilling, whereas to the west there appears to be some cut-offs or off-setting due to faulting. The 2011 program has extended the Enger deposit up-dip to the southwest and remains open in all other directions.

For the air core drilling (EN01AC to EN06AC), two prospective areas were identified in the northeast sector of the property from a soil gas hydrocarbon geochemical survey and follow-up ground radiometric survey. East Asia drilled six shallow holes (20 to 54 metres depth), with two holes identifying early stage targets for further investigation in sediments. Hole EN001AC encountered an average of 610 cps (counts per second) from 1.8 to 3.5 metres depth, and drill hole EN005AC encountered 373 cps from 10.17 to 10.42 metres.

The following table presents the key drill intercepts from holes conducted by East Asia Minerals since acquiring the project in 2005. By comparing the cps readings with assay results of the 2006/07 drill programs, East Asia Minerals is encouraged by the results of the 2011 drill program. The 2011 cps results are indicative and validation will be determined when assays are received from the submitted core samples.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
----
Year Hole From (m) To (m) Width (m) Grade(U3O8%) Average cps
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2006 ENDD002 182.5 185.0 2.5 0.232 1,285
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2006 ENDD003 128.5 131.0 2.5 0.410 3,682
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2006 ENDD005 53.5 67.0 13.5 0.108 3,153
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2007 ENDD011 104.5 113.8 9.3 0.212 3,993
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2007 ENDD015 23.0 27.0 4.0 0.033 1,383
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2011 ENDD016 31.9 36.9 5.0 Pending 634
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
59.6 61.3 1.7 Pending 2,890
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2011 ENDD017 43.7 50.2 6.5 Pending 2,579
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
70.7 73.2 2.5 Pending 3,162
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
2011 ENDD018 108.9 111.8 2.9 Pending 741
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
134.2 136.1 1.9 Pending 1,171
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Table 1 - Key intercepts at Enger from East Asia Minerals' drilling since 2006 (also refer to www.EAminerals.com)

The drill rig at the Enger project has now been moved to the Ingenii-Nars project. The proposed drilling program at Ingenii-Nars is expected to include four PCD holes in the main zone of the sandstone-hosted uranium project. Additional drilling in other parts of the property had been planned and is now being reconsidered in light of this year's excessive wet conditions in the clay basin where the project is located.

EAS has not verified the classification of the historic resource reference and is not treating it as a NI 43-101 defined resource verified by a QP. Although this historical resource is relevant to recognizing the potential of the Enger Property, it should not be relied upon. Samples have been sent to Stewart Mongolia LLC Laboratory in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
