Investigators Can’t Find Tapes Showing Fulton County’s 2020 Ballot Count Started At Zero

A 2020 election scandal in Fulton County, Georgia’s most populous county, continues to grow with new details revealed in a State Election Board (SEB) meeting last Wednesday — and now, a week later, with an FBI raid seeking election documents from the county.

Fulton County was notoriously plagued with issues like long lines and voting machine malfunctions in the 2020 primary election, problems The New York Times described as “a full-scale meltdown.” The problems continued through November’s Election Day and beyond, prompting concerns about votes being counted without proper supervision, among other things. The county’s repeated failures in 2020 so degraded trust in Fulton County’s ability to administer elections that the election director was forced to resign.

Now, members of the State Election Board have raised new concerns about the county’s administration of the 2020 election, revealing in last week’s meeting that the “tapes” used to verify that ballot counters started their counts at zero may be missing.

When a ballot scanner is used to count ballots, election officials must start the process by printing and signing a “zero tape,” which confirms the count started at zero. After counting ballots on the ballot scanner, officials must print and sign a closing tape, which confirms the final vote tally from that machine. In December, an attorney for Fulton County admitted that the county failed to sign off on more than 100 “tabulator tapes” — equivalent to about 315,000 votes — from early voting in the 2020 election. That admission was prompted by a complaint that was investigated by Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office.

But in the course of investigating that complaint about the “closing tapes,” state investigators also looked for the “zero tapes,” and were unable to find any from Fulton County’s early voting period in the 2020 general election, SEB member Jan Johnston said during the board meeting.

“The zero tape is like the beginning of a trip odometer,” Johnston explained. “You’re gonna take a trip, you’re gonna open the polls, and you set your trip odometer to zero. You look in the ballot box, and there are no ballots in the ballot box. That’s the open zero tape. You have the election, and at the end of the day, you print out a closing tape. That is the end of the trip odometer.”

The “zero tape” also helps ensure that there are no previous ballots left on the tabulator, such as votes from a previous election or a test run, that could be counted. It helps avoid situations like one that happened in a primary election in Montana in 2024, when officials discovered more votes were counted than voters physically cast. The county clerk said she believed the votes were leftover sample data that had not been cleared.

The setup for mass mail balloting started in Washington state in 1985 with a plan to turn Washington blue.

At that time Republicans were very good at their mail ballot game, but absentee voting was restricted.

The Democrats effort to achieve dominance in absentee voting involved a software guy named Jeffrey Dean, who specialized in accounting software, and his brother Neil Dean, who mobilized temp workers and had a mail sorting operation.

The plan was interrupted when Jeff Dean was sentenced to prison for embezzlement from his politically connected employer.

As soon as he was released from prison, some unknown entity financed Jeff Dean for his own ballot printing company, to the tune of a couple million $. He was immediately given the contract to handle ballot printing for King County WA, and his brother handled mail sorting for absentees, plus provided election workers through his temp firm.

Meanwhile, embezzler Jeff got 24 hour keycard access to King County elections with total god-level admin access to both their voter registration system and their central tabulation.

Jeff hired his prison buddy, narcotics trafficker John Elder, to help run the ballot printing. Sometimes they left bags of ballot overages on the curb for night pickup.

Even though he had made no attempt to pay court ordered restitution of over $300k, somehow Jeff Dean had enough financing to purchase Global Election Systems, a manufacturer of optical scan machines, DRE touchscreens, and the GEMS central tabulator.

Michigan County Clerk Discovers 239 Noncitizens Selected for Jury Duty Over 4-Month Period, With 14 Registered to Vote

Macomb County Clerk Anthony G. Forlini announced Monday that noncitizens have been appearing in the Michigan county’s jury pool “at an alarming rate” and many of them are registered to vote. The data indicates that many noncitizens have potentially sat on juries and/or illegally voted in elections.

During a press conference in the courthouse jury room in Mount Clemens, MI, Forlini stated that an internal review of the county identified 239 noncitizens selected for jury duty over a four-month period from September 5, 2025, to January 8, 2026.

The jury pool is drawn from the Michigan Secretary of State’s driver’s license database, which does not consistently flag citizenship status, allowing noncitizens—such as lawful permanent residents with green cards—to be included.

Forlini, who is running for Secretary of State, emphasized that noncitizens are ineligible for jury duty under Michigan law.

Upon cross-checking the 239 noncitizens against the state’s Qualified Voter File (QVF), Forlini’s office found that 14 had been registered to vote at some point, with three individuals appearing to have cast ballots, including one who voted multiple times.

This was just one county in Michigan over a four month period.

“We need to bring these issues to light, we need to be able to show a light on this and say, ‘Hey, there’s a problem,’” Forlini said. “Secretary of State offices need to verify all applications against federal databases. I think this is critically important.”

He said the three noncitizens who voted have been referred to county Corporation Counsel for consideration of felony charges.

The clerk expressed concern that the current system relies on self-reporting, meaning noncitizens could serve on juries without being identified, potentially compromising the integrity of the judicial process.

He also highlighted that Michigan’s automatic voter registration process, which registers individuals when they apply for a driver’s license unless they opt out, may contribute to the issue, particularly if applicants do not understand the citizenship checkbox on the form.

“Non-citizens are coming through at an alarming rate. Our jury service summons are based on random draws from the driver’s license bank. Frequently non-citizens slip through because citizenship was not flagged in the Secretary of State database,” Forlini stated.

He called for improved data sharing between state and federal databases to enable more reliable citizenship verification.

“We must find a way for the Driver’s License database to confirm citizenship. Many times there may be a language barrier, and applicants do not understand what they are signing. If this is not addressed, we risk compromising our jury trials and our elections,” Forlini said.

“One possibility is to take advantage of new breakthroughs in linking several databases, where one database is able flag another database for actual citizenship verification.,” he added.

The issue has drawn bipartisan attention, with former Secretary of State Candice Miller and state Representative Joe Aragona supporting calls for legislative review.

A member of the Macomb County Clerk’s office, however, stated during the press conference that Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s (D) office said “we’re not gonna touch this” when presented with evidence of non-citizens on jury pool and voter rolls.

Benson, who is running for governor of Michigan, has refused to turn over unredacted voter data to the Department of Justice (DOJ), arguing that “nobody—not the president, the DOJ or any other federal agency has the right to your sensitive, private voter information.”

Critics have pointed out that Benson has had no problem with sharing complete voter roll data with non-governmental organizations like the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) and Rock the Vote, suggesting inconsistencies in her privacy claims.

The Justice Department has sued 23 states and Washington, D.C., for failing to comply with its requests for voter roll data.

Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice, asserts that access to full voter registration data is essential for ensuring election integrity, preventing vote dilution, and verifying that only eligible citizens are on voter rolls.

“Why won’t they cooperate and let us help them clean up the rolls?! What else are they hiding?!” Dhillon posted on X, Monday evening.

A Michigan judge on Tuesday threw out charges against 15 people accused of acting as “fake electors” for President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

Democratic Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel brought charges in 2023 against 16 people for allegedly attempting to act as electors in the Electoral College and cast electoral votes for Trump, despite former President Joe Biden winning the popular vote in the state. However, District Court Judge Kristen Simmons ruled on Tuesday that there was insufficient evidence to prove the defendants acted with criminal intent.

“This is not an election interference case,” Simmons said during a hearing Tuesday.

“I believe that they were executing their constitutional right to seek redress, and that’s based on the statements of all of the people’s witnesses,” the judge added. “There’s many things that could cause a pause in the electoral process, and it doesn’t mean that it’s criminal.”

The charges were tied to a December 2020 meeting where members of the group — including several top Republican officials in the state — allegedly signed documents claiming they were members of the Electoral College and tried to cast votes for Trump.

All 16 defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges, but one individual had the charges against him dropped after agreeing to cooperate with the state attorney general’s office in October 2023.

“Right, wrong or indifferent, it was these individuals and many other individuals in the state of Michigan who sincerely believe, for some reason, that there were some serious irregularities with the election, or with the voting, and that somehow their candidate didn’t receive all the votes that was intended to for them,” the judge said of the remaining defendants.

As the Trump administration prepares an executive order to ban mail-in voting and require voter identification, Maine’s Democrat secretary of state admitted non-citizen residents are registered to vote in her state.

In July 2025, the DOJ requested information from Bellows regarding Maine’s maintenance procedures for complying with the statewide voter registration list provisions of the National Voter Registration Act.

FBI gives Congress intel on alleged Chinese plot to create fake mail-in ballots in 2020

FBI Director Kash Patel on Monday evening turned over to Congress an intelligence report raising concerns that China had mass-produced fake U.S. driver's licenses to carry out a scheme to hijack the 2020 election with fake mail-in ballots for Democrat Joe Biden.

The newly declassified intelligence reports from August 2020 weren’t corroborated or fully investigated and instead were recalled from intelligence agencies at about the time that then-FBI Director Chris Wray testified there were no known plots of foreign interference ahead of the 2020 election in which Biden defeated Donald Trump.

The new documents were turned over to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, who had first raised concerns to the bureau that the intelligence hadn’t been fully vetted, and instead was just dismissed even though there was evidence of the fake licenses.

"Thanks to the oversight work and partnership of Chairman Grassley, the FBI continues to provide unprecedented transparency at the people's Bureau,” Patel told Just the News in a statement. “To that end, we have located documents Chairman Grassley requested, which detail alarming allegations related to the 2020 U.S. election.

“Specifically, these include allegations of plans from the CCP to manufacture fake driver's licenses and ship them into the United States for the purpose of facilitating fraudulent mail-in ballots – allegations which, while substantiated, were abruptly recalled and never disclosed to the public,” Patel also said.

“In accordance with Chairman Grassley's request for documents, I have immediately declassified the material and turned the document over to the Chairman for further review."

Officials who have seen the documents told Just the News the FBI had a relatively new confidential source who provided information in summer 2020 that the Chinese government was manufacturing and exporting fake U.S. driver's licenses as part of a plot to create voter identities for Chinese residents living in the United States so they could vote with fake mail-in ballots.

The intelligence source claimed the plot was specifically designed to benefit Biden, officials said.

They also said the intelligence report was recalled within a few weeks and the allegations never fully investigated, on the grounds that the source needed to be re-interviewed.

But, in fact, another agency, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, had intercepted nearly 20,000 fake licenses around the time the intelligence came in a possible corroboration of the report, officials said.

Some election integrity researchers are expanding their investigation of politicians who benefitted from questionable “Smurfing” campaign contributions and discovered that Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) received many of them. Smurfing refers to using straw donors to make campaign contributions; usually, elderly and unemployed people are unaware their identities are being used for money laundering. Many contributions are made under one name, sometimes thousands of them, and they are usually small amounts, often around $10 each, to escape detection.

The Smurfing appears to be usually run through ActBlue, the Democrats’ fundraising platform, although it has also been spotted on the Republican side in recent years through their WinRed fundraising platform.

Experts say they believe Democratic operatives are conducting the Smurfing to hide illegal donations from foreigners, corporations, unions, or individuals who have exceeded contribution limits. Investigative journalist James O’Keefe took videos of himself talking to some of the Smurfs, mostly elderly and retired people of modest means who admitted they did not know about the large numbers of campaign contributions in their names.

Massachusetts donors gave Gallego more than twice as much money as Arizonans did last March. The $8 million from Massachusetts donors came through ActBlue, with Gallego receiving $17 million in total. Carolyn Wren, a senior advisor to his Republican opponent Kari Lake, found other oddities, including unemployed Virginia Smith donating to Gallego 57 times.

Gallego significantly outraised Lake in the Senate race. The vast majority of his funding came from out of state, and much of it appears to have been laundered through ActBlue. He raised approximately $36 million in 2024, while Lake raised approximately $17 million.

Congress is investigating ActBlue and Smurfing. Then-Senator Marco Rubio sent a complaint letter to the FEC regarding ActBlue’s failure to require CCV numbers to process credit card donations. ActBlue agreed to require them. In October 2024, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton petitioned the FEC to take immediate action to “close fundraising loopholes that jeopardize American election integrity” following his investigation into the Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue. In August, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson sent a letter to the CEO of ActBlue about the Smurfing allegations. Last fall, 19 state attorneys general began investigating ActBlue.

Oregon’s elections director Molly Woon has resigned “in lieu of removal” by the next secretary of state, months after it was revealed that state officials registered noncitizens to vote.

Other top officials in the secretary’s office, including Deputy Secretary of State Cheryl Myers, Chief of Staff Ben Morris, Legislative Director Kathy Wai, and Audits Director Kip Memmott also announced resignations recently, both OPB and The Oregonian/OregonLive reported.

Woon was deputy director of the Democrat Party of Oregon between 2018 and 2020, and she has been elections director in the secretary’s office since January 2023. She was embroiled in multiple scandals during her time with the secretary of state.

An executive at fraudulent cryptocurrency company FTX gave $500,000 to the state Democrat Party in 2022. In 2023, Woon refused to recuse herself from the investigation into the matter, despite her former position in the party.

Woon was also elections director when state officials discovered in September more than 300 noncitizens had been registered to vote since 2021. Following audits found more than 1,600 potentially ineligible voters on the rolls, allegedly due to glitches and oversights in the “motor voter” system at the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles.

The Oregon DMV also processed more than 54,600 voter registrations for individuals of “unknown citizenship” between June 2021 and October 2024, as The Federalist previously reported.

That’s how the office of Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro on Thursday characterized actions by state Republicans who planned to nominate their own electors following the 2020 presidential election in which their candidate lost.

As Shapiro’s office pointed out, Pennsylvania Republicans made no secret during the 2020 election certification process that they planned to nominate their own slate of electors and submit their own ballots to perpetuate “the Big Lie” that Donald Trump defeated Joe Biden in the Keystone State.

Shapiro’s office said the Republicans’ “fake ballots” for electors included a conditional clause that they were only to be used if a court overturned the results in Pennsylvania — which did not happen.

“Though their rhetoric and policy were intentionally misleading and purposefully damaging to our democracy, based on our initial review, our office does not believe this meets the legal standards for forgery,” Shapiro’s office stated.

A Barletta campaign spokesman addressed the issue in a statement from their office.

“The language of the Pennsylvania document clearly states that this was done in case it was later determined that different electors were needed. It was sent to the governor, sent to the National Archives, and the Pennsylvania Republican Party tweeted about it, so it was something that was placed clearly on the public record,” the statement indicates.

“At the time there were still outstanding issues and pending litigation with respect to the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. To this day, millions of people have legitimate questions about that election,” the statement adds.

There is no proof that the 2020 election was stolen except:

1. Six states changed their election laws two months before the 2020 election by executive fiat, instead of going through the proper channels in the legislature. That is a violation of their state constitutions and that in and of itself is enough to invalidate the results of the 2020 election.

2. Mark Zuckerberg, hard left, spent $450 million dollars of private money on our elections. After the 2020 election analysis revealed that most of that money went to benefit Democrats.

3. 6 swing states stopped counting the votes on election night for the first time in American history. At the time that they stopped counting the votes, Donald Trump was ahead of Biden in each of them.

4. The unelected tech oligarchs in conjunction with the FBI in this country censored a very important story about Hunter Biden’s laptop and Joe Biden’s corruption. People who worked in the intelligence community, came out and said it was Russian disinformation only to have that laptop be admitted into evidence as part of an FBI investigation and criminal prosecution of Hunter Biden. Polling after the election showed that if people knew about the Hunter Biden laptop story it would’ve changed 17% of the vote.

5. 2,036,041 ballots were touched by anomalies.

6. 923 American citizens filled out affidavits alleging voter fraud, and signed them under penalties of perjury.

7. 50 plus courts blocked evidentiary hearings into the alleged fraud found in 2020.

8. Prior to 2020 there were four other contested elections, one in Florida, one in the 78th district of Missouri, one in the ninth district of North Carolina, and one in the 22nd district of New York. In every single one of those four instances, there was an evidentiary hearing. In the 2020 election, there was no evidentiary hearing. For the first time in American history.

9. No election contest in American history has had 923 fact witnesses sign under penalties of perjury and stake their personal freedom in testimony to attest to the irregularities and legal issues found in various states.

10. 37 states in the United States of America altered their absentee or mail in ballots ballot integrity procedures before the 2020 election.

11. If those 37 states used the same ballot integrity procedures that they used in 2018, swing states would’ve found an upwards of 30,000 more ineligible ballots.

12. In Pennsylvania, counties allowed new ballots to be filled out after the election.

13. Any one of those is enough to say that there was enough fraud in the 2020 election to doubt the outcome. Can I prove Donald Trump would’ve won the election if the Democrats hadn’t cheated? No I can’t prove a counter-narrative, but I can tell you that this amount of fraud leads any reasonable person to the conclusion that Joe Biden didn’t win.

The insurrection therefore was on 11/3/2020.

1/6 was a lawful protest with permits that got out of hand. Unlike Democrats who spent 10 months burning down this country to the tune of $2 billion dollars, and injuring 740 police officers nationwide, the capital riot had a couple million dollars in damages, 140 police officers that were injured and zero deaths. When we woke up, the following ballots were counted overnight without impartial observers:

But documents from Venezuela’s National Electoral Council obtained by the Miami Herald show that Smartmatic licensed its software for use in three other elections after that, at least two of them secretly: the municipal elections of December 2017 and the disputed presidential election of May 2018.

Sources consulted for this story said the use of Smartmatic software in the municipal and the presidential elections was meant to be kept under wraps, and that Venezuelan officials and company executives agreed to use another company to hide Smartmatic’s involvement. “They literally used a third company to hide the participation of Smartmatic, but it was Smartmatic that provided the technicians to... have the software ready to use in the voting machines,” a source who was on the National Electoral Council at the time told the Herald. Two other sources who served on the electoral council and have first-hand knowledge of the 2017 and 2018 elections confirmed the story. They asked not to be named because they fear for the safety of their family members still in Venezuela.

Smartmatic was in the spotlight again in August, after a federal grand jury in South Florida indicted Roger Piñate, founder and president of the company , on charges of committing foreign corruption and money laundering to secure elections contracts in the Philippines. Piñate, 49, a Boca Raton resident, was charged along with Jorge Miguel Vasquez, 62, of Davie, the company’s former vice president of hardware development, with paying $1 million in bribes to the former chairman of the Philippines’ Commission on Elections, Juan Andres Donato Bautista.

“These bribes were allegedly paid to obtain and retain business related to providing voting machines and election services for the 2016 Philippine elections and to secure payments on the contracts, including the release of value added tax payments,” the U.S. Justice Department said in a news release.

Court records, including a Homeland Security Investigations criminal complaint, indicate that Smartmatic’s contracts with the Philippines were worth $199 million for providing voting machines and other services for the May 2016 election for president, vice president and other positions.

Error with tracking citizenship puts nearly 100,000 Arizona voters’ eligibility in limbo

The record checks are critical for determining which voters go on the ‘federal only’ rolls. The state will have to resolve the issue in court, with time running out.

The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office filed an emergency petition asking the Arizona Supreme Court to rule on whether the voters affected by this problem should be required to provide documented proof of citizenship before the November election in order to vote a full ballot.

The eligibility of nearly 100,000 registered voters in Arizona is up in the air because of an error in state systems uncovered just before the scheduled sending of mail ballots, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes announced on Tuesday.

The state incorrectly marked these voters when they registered to vote as already having provided documented proof of U.S. citizenship, when really, it’s unclear whether they have, Fontes said.

The error stems from the way the Motor Vehicle Division provides driver’s license information to the state’s voter registration system. The voters affected by this particular error are people who first obtained their Arizona driver’s license before October 1996 and then were issued a duplicate replacement before registering to vote sometime after 2004, according to Fontes.

Arizona’s unique laws have required proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in state and local elections since 2005. That means, if these voters have not provided the proof, they should be registered as what Arizona calls “federal only” voters and be allowed to vote only for president and Congress.

It’s unclear why no one noticed the error sooner, Fontes said, but it’s been occurring for roughly two decades and over four administrations.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Friday ruled that undated or misdated ballots cast in the key battleground state will not count for this November’s election.

The decision has widely been hailed as a significant victory for proponents of increased election integrity. Observers also consider it a boost to Republican nominee Donald Trump’s chances of carrying Pennsylvania, a state critical to his chances of winning back the presidency in November.

The Pennsylvania Capital-Star reported that the 4-3 state Supreme Court ruling “threw out a lower court’s decision finding the requirement for voters to write the date on mail-in ballots to have them counted unconstitutional.”

“In a two-page order, the state’s highest court said the lower Commonwealth Court lacked jurisdiction to hear a challenge of the dating provision by voters’ rights groups,” the Capital-Star added.

The state Supreme Court’s order stated:

The Commonwealth Court lacked subject matter jurisdiction to review the matter given the failure to name the county board of elections of all 67 counties, and because the joinder of Al Schmidt, in his official capacity of Secretary of the Commonwealth, did not suffice to invoke the Commonwealth Court’s original jurisdiction

Although Schmidt is a registered Republican, he was appointed to his office by Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro, a runner-up to become Democratic nominee Kamala Harris’ running mate in the 2024 presidential election.

As Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth, Schmidt oversees Pennsylvania’s elections. His office is equivalent to that of the Secretary of State in most other states.

Votebeat, a news source that specializes in covering elections, noted that a potential challenge is more likely to arise due to the fact that the “[Pennsylvania] Supreme Court ruled on jurisdictional grounds, not on the merits of the underlying claim.”

The New York Times reported: “The plaintiffs could file a new lawsuit that addresses the jurisdiction issue, but whether they will do so is unclear.”

And voting by mail was something you were very reluctant to do because you knew that if your vote got counted, it was gonna be very late in the process. It wasn't really going to matter.

After the past 3 years, I’m sick of the false lying media / leftwing/ Dems narrative regarding the illegally secretly recorded phone call between President Trump and GA SOS Raffensperger. I was on the call, which is now part of every leftwing media article about me since that day.

Fact: Trump’s legal team filed an election contest on Dec 4 2020. Supposed to be expedited but Chief Judge of Fulton County failed (refused?) to assign an eligible judge. So Pres Trump never got his day in Court. All the media focuses on is Pres Trump’s statement “we just have to find 12,000 votes”. The problem with that narrative is the Trump team had ALREADY found them - many many more than 12,000 votes that were included in the certified total - votes that were ILLEGAL under GA law. And shouldn’t have been counted. More than the margin between Pres Trump and Biden.

What Raffensperger has never done to this day is sit down and compare the data in the lawsuit with data from his office that he insisted proved Trump wrong. Data in the lawsuit such as:

- That the USPS records showing 18,325 votes cast from “vacant” addresses were wrong…
- That the data showing 1,000 votes cast from P.O. Boxes was wrong….
- That the data showing more than 30,000 votes cast by people who voted (illegally) from prior addresses was wrong.

And many other categories of illegal votes.

If Raffensperger was / is so confident of “his data” why wouldn’t he publish it? Why wouldn’t he be happy to share it even now to confirm his data was right and Trump’s data was wrong? Raffensperger never did that. Still won’t.

The lawsuit had already documented - “found” - well more than 12,000 illegal votes- all public record. More than 1100 pages of data and expert reports. What Pres Trump asked Raffensperger to do was LOOK at the data and the evidence in the election contest lawsuit, compare the records with persons from the Trump team. But he wouldn’t / couldn’t / can’t do that.

Raffensperger loves being adored by leftwing media so he could not afford for facts to come out. That’s why Pres Trump (rightfully!) still holds Raffensperger responsible for the mess in Georgia in 2020. Along with Gov Kemp and AG Chris Carr. They utterly failed to make absolutely certain that the results were accurate. They failed. All the American people expected then and now is accuracy. Those 3 officials didn’t do that. But NO ONE asked Raffensperger to “manufacture” votes. Asking to compare data to confirm accuracy shouldn’t be too much to ask.
