It was recently added to the S@P500 index as a result of its merger with Hemlo Gold. I would think the index funds will be buying into it. It recently discovered gold in Honduras and found better than expected deposits at another mine. BMG is selling near the low end of its range. Media General shows about 20 days of short interest in the stock that will eventually have to be bought in. I bought at 7 7/8 the day after the announcement of it being added to the S&P500 index.
