Ok peeps, Let's figure out the new E*Trade IPO system. As of today, 6/17/99, we know that E*Trade has stated that they changed their system to pure lottery, and are penalizing flippers. This thread is to find out if this is true, and to answer the following questions: 1) Does E*Trade enforce the no-flipping rule? 2) Does E*Trade now give priority to Active Traders? 3) Is the E*Trade system *really* still lottery? or is it still FCFS? 4) Is there any other way to better your chances of getting shares? let's collect what we know. -DotComBoy www.bullishbuys.com <--- Grand opening end of july! P.S. As always, no newbie questions. If i see one more "Where do I get an IPO" question, I'll scream. | ||||||||||||
