Things seem to be taking off for Lyon Lakes (M.LLL). I thought I start this thread with the latest as it appears in the "Prospector".

Lyon Lake Receives Outstanding Gold Assays From Its Beta Varga, Costa Rica

Lyon Lake Mines Ltd (LYLMF:OTC) believes they have received outstanding gold assays results on their Beta Vargas property in Costa Rica.

Fourty-one rock and soil samples were collected from seven different areas. Four out of six areas sampled within a 4 square kilometres region returned gold values
of over 5.50 gpt gold. Some assays were as high as 9.40 gpt gold.

Area 1 : 2.00 gpt, 7.80 gpt, 1.60 gpt, 8.10 gpt, 1.10 gpt
Area 3 : 1.78 gpt, 9.40 gpt, 3.09 gpt
Area 6 : 2.18 gpt, 9.46 gpt, 3.22 gpt, 2.87 gpt, 3.51 gpt
Area 7 : 1.59 gpt, 0.80 gpt, 5.52 gpt

This airborne survey allowed the interpretation of major structures juxtaposed with strong radiometric anomalies. The results of soil and rock samples confirmed the
substantial gold potential of this area of the property. Drilling will be carried out in the coming months to assess the economic potential of this new area.

On May 6, 1996, Lyon Lake obtained the production permit for the Beta Vargas property. Mining should begin towards the end of 1996. The company is also
currently completing a major soil and stream sampling program on the Esperanza property, 100 km northeast of Beta Vargas. The results of this program should be
available in the coming weeks.

The Esperanza property (80 square kilometres) lies between properties owned by Barrick Gold and Placer Dome, 7 km west of the Placer Dome's major
"Crucitas" discovery.

This company has really been good to us this year and it looks like its going to get better!

Let's reap what we sow!

Larry
