I'm just learning how to read charts, but I am interested in trading biotechs exclusively and the other TA threads are too "noisy".

I have felt for a long time that the biotech revolution will dwarf the computer revolution, and I believe the momentum in this area for the next few years will be incredible.
for others to access if there is an interest.

Is biotech at a turning point? Will there be a dramatic consolidation and buy out phase as the science matures? Is there a technical pattern that shows candidates for buyout in advance?

Do biotechs have different technical patterns due to the dramatic changes in valuations brought about by news?

These are a couple of questions that I would like to see discussed above and beyond standard support & resistance, candlestick patterns, etc.

I have a substantial archive of intraday charts for biotechs and sometimes go back to these to look at intraday trading patterns at crisis points. I can post one of these charts on the web if there is an interest.

See the 1/26/03 post for the sort of comparison I'm trying to do.

Peace & Prosperity,
Paula
