can one categorize paychex (provides computerized payroll accounting services) as an infotech stock? a search for it within techstocks didn't produce a return, so i thought i'd try and start my own subject. this stock has caught my eye. although fairly pricey (yeah, what isn't?), it's been on a few recommended lists. s&p rated it a "hold" at $62.25, but it's come down from there. it was ranked 20th on _financial world_'s recent 100 best growth companies using four criteria: five-year annualized sales growth, annualized eps growth, return on equity, and estimated eps growth ('97 v. '96). they predict $1.22 eps for this year. i think motley fool shorted this one sometime in '96 and then promptly bailed. anyone in or got an opinion. bueller? -chris. | ||||||||||||||
