Nord Pacific is a three faceted company. Presently they have a major copper project in Australia, Girilambone, 40%. A producer of low cost copper. Exploration has proved up another discovery, Triton 50% of a very large copper resource. Total indicated resource is 9.75 mm tons grading 3.01% copper, .21 grams gold, 11 grams silver. Totaling 646 million pounds of cu, 66,000 oz of au and 3.4mm oz of ag. That is not all, they have 35% of the Ramu nickel project which has a resource of 1.34mm tons of nickel at .9%, and .1% cobalt. This is only 2.7billion pounds of nickel and 300mm pounds of cobalt. But look at their gold property in the Tabar Islands in Papa New Guinea. Drilled indicated reserves of 446m ozs. However, this is oxide, a sulphide body of ore exists. Previous drill hole hit high grade mineralization at depth. This could be another Lihir which has 40mm ozs and lies 30 miles away. The company has 10mm shs outstanding. They are doing a issue of 3+mm to raise some funds for exploration. This outfit is run by class guys, no puff, just proven reserves and profitable too.
