DM Management is a specialty direct marketer of high-quality women's
apparel, accessories, shoes, gifts and cosmetics. The Company currently markets its products through two discrete catalog concepts, J. Jill and Nicole Summers. Each of these catalogs targets mature, affluent women, and is designed to appeal to a distinct lifestyle within this demographic group.

As of 8/25/97, DMMC was trading at it's 50DMA of 11 1/2.

DMMC has recently purchased additional land (360 acres) to expand their operations in Tilton, New Hampshire. The site is intended to house a distribution center of approximately 300,000 square feet to be completed by the end of 1998. Construction is expected to begin this fall. The Company's call center operations will remain in Meredith, New Hampshire.
