NEWS RELEASE Communitronics of America, Inc. Wins Approval for Paging Frequency Daphne, Alabama, November 18, 1998 - Communitronics of America, Inc., which trades as BEEP on the NASD OTC Bulletin Board, has received Federal Communications Commission approval to operate on the 152.630 paging frequency in Mobile, Alabama, company president David R. Pressler announced today. "This will allow us to provide seamless paging coverage throughout the Southeastern United States, as well as the Metro areas of Mobile along the Gulf Coast," Mr. Pressler said. "It opens our potential coverage to a population base in excess of 16 million." Mr. Pressler said that after completing construction of a new tower and transmitting station, the company will enjoy a cost savings of nearly 25% over paging resellers in the area. Additionally, he said the seamless coverage will allow the company to provide substantially increased quality service to its existing and potential customers. Communitronics of America, Inc., parent company of Communitronics, Inc. and Crescent Paging, Inc., seeks to become a leader in the paging, voice messaging, SMR and cellular business in the Southeastern United States. The company, which operates its own broadcast towers and transmitters, is an FCC licensed carrier operating on multiple frequencies throughout Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle.
