These comments were ones I posted on a trading thread. I didn't see any thread started on Reserve Royalty, so thought I should start one given the activity! These initial comments I made are listed below. All the best!! HEAD'S UP ROI on Toronto. They just pushed the price wayyyy down to put through a few MAMMOTH crosses. Took a bunch down with them who didn't know better and pannicked! From what I've seen before on these, this is what happens: 1) They push the price down hard to put through the crosses. 2) While they're doing that a lot of people freak cuz they see the shareprice "tanking" and sell along with it. (too bad for them that this happens) 3) The initial buying after the cross comes in fast, because the traders know the drop was totally artificial. 4) Some people hold back with a stink bid, hoping another cross might be pushed through. 5) As people see that the crosses are done/over, the buying gets stronger, often returning to the price at the beginning of the day. (This can take a few hours after the initial jump back). 6) Other buyers come in later today or over the next few days seeing that insiders/friends have been "positioned" in the stock, and begin to expect news/developments may now be presented. After this positioning becomes evident to the broader market, buying comes in through news, or the expectation of news. Either way, the price moves up. To see a GREAT GREAT example of this, take a look at the chart on PANGEA GOLDFIELDS (PGD on Toronto) just before the middle of September. 1) The price was trading at $1.30 2) In one day, the pushed the price down to below .90cents and put through a huge cross. A lot of people shook out while that happened thinking the world had ended.) 3) Within 3 days, the price was back up at $1.30 4) Within a little over 2 weeks, it was trading up aroun $1.90!! I think this kind of thing should be banned, but hey, that's the market I guess. Not really fair for the little investors who see their baby tank and get shook out. Should be interesting!!!
