Standard Automotive (AJX) is a specialty manufacturer of new trailer chassis for sale and leasing.

As of 1/7/99 company info stands as follows (from Yahoo Finance)...

earnings $1
sales $17.68
cash .81

Net sales more than doubled in the first 6 months ending 9/98 from 11.2 million to 25.1 million.

Not as sexy as a tech stock but I think if this market cools off this could be the type of defensive play that will benefit...

If anyone has any experience or information on this company please share it with us (or should I say me) on this thread.
