Technology and telecommunications are the highest performing STOXX sectors (both over 400) and telecos are highest ranked Euro STOXX sector at over 660. (where 100=beginning Jan1992)

Even so, Europe lags behind the state of the US tech stocks so far. It seems a no-brainer to take a position in Euro tech stocks, and indexes such as these seem a convenient way to invest.
