You probably use Tokheim's products every week even though you've never heard of them. According to their web site, "Tokheim is the world's largest independent designer, manufacturer and servicer of electronic and mechanical petroleum marketing systems." In other words, they make the gas pumps you use every time you fill your car. Founded in 1898 and publicly traded (NYSE: TOK) since 1983, it's a very stable business whose award-winning products are providing service in every state and in over 145 countries around the world. It's stock, however, has recently been absolutely hammered by a revenue/earnings shortfall due to a temporary order slowdown which has resulted from the unusually high level of major oil company mergers around the world. With annual sales of over $600 million and a market cap now under $40 million this seems a very reasonable turnaround play.
Website at tokheim.com contains lots of useful info.
