This company was written up in the Globe and Mail today. It wants to be the Intel of flat panel displays. "We want to be the black layer inside," says Brian Kennedy, president and chief executive officer of Luxell, echoing Intel Corp.'s "Intel inside" slogan. "We'll do the high-end market, then trickle down to the consumer." The company also released year end results and noted that it has $80M of contracts in place for next 10 -15 years. The company is making displays for the military (high margins, tough specs.) and is aiming for the consumer goods market. This could be the opportunity to get in on the ground floor. | ||||||||||||
