Poorman's Investment Strategy is a 12 point system that was created at the beginning of the 1990s and perchance has similar characteristics as CANSLIM. At one time all values could be found or calculated from data found in Investors Business Daily. Since 1996 it has included timing information obtained from daily charts such as found in Telescan.

Many stocks in Poorman's database are/or eventually will become CANSLIM stocks as defined by William O'Neil in his book, "How to Make Money in Stocks".

Poormans rating system is based on strong growth and earnings. Feel free to use this thread to discuss growth stocks that might not meet CANSLIM standards (link to CANSLIM - Coast to Coast).
